Science & Technology

Sankhla science and technology team started off with an aim of combining science with development. Since then we as a team have worked on various fields like thermal management program, laser marking compounds, E beam compounds for wires and cable applications and etc. we have been tirelessly working to build disruptive technology that not only meets our customers requirement but also eco- friendly and our aim is to provide the best for our customers through innovative ideas. In all these years not only have we grown strong as a team but also have worked and developed many forward-looking technology that have made our customers satisfied and happy. Innovation is the ability to see change as an opportunity and innovation never stops at Shankla!

Thermal Management Platform

Sankhla Science Technology team has initiated research on highly thermal conductive and dielectric polymer composite for electronic applications. This composite is widely used in electronic packaging LED housing due to their easy processing, injection molding of complex design, lightweight, excellent insulation, and good mechanical properties. Also, this composite enhance the life time of LED lights and Processor of electronic packaging. However, as electronic devices gradually turn towards high energy density and low signal delay, polymers with high thermal conductivity and low dielectric properties are in large demand as polymers have low intrinsic thermal conductivity. Sankhla developed the composite with high thermally conductive proprietary fillers to balance the high thermal conductivity and the dielectric properties. Recent progress of thermally conductive composites are aiming to provide a thermal management solutions in the field of microelectronics and LED applications.

Laser Marking Technology

Laser marking of polymer materials is a technology that is extensively used in wire cable, automotive, pharma and medical device industries. Polyolefin shows a low ability to absorb electromagnetic radiation in the near-infrared range (λ = 1064 nm). Sankhla Speciality additives influence of the surface condition of polyolefin moldings on the efficiency of their marking with a laser beam.

Sankhla Science Technology team has been tirelessly working on Laser making compound for wire and cable applications. And also expanding their research work on automotive, medical devices etc.

Ebeam Technology

Science  Technology team has started working on E-Beam technology for wire Cable applications. Utilizing electron beam cross-linking for modification and enhancement of LSZH polymer properties has been well established. Modification in polymeric structure of materials can be brought about either by conventional chemical means, usually involving silane or per-oxide or by exposure to ionizing radiation from energetic electrons from electron accelerators. The electron beam processing in wires and cables helps to improve thermal, chemical, barrier, impact wear and other mechanical properties to meet the demanding applications of the customers in wires and cables. This is evident from the large number (2500) of EB machines presently working in India and abroad
